International Bomber Command Centre

The steel frame at the Chadwick Centre building at the new International Bomber Command Centre near Lincoln has been completed. Work is progressing on roofing and cladding as well as external works and the project is on target for opening in the autumn. The roll of honour for the aircrew who lost their lives flying from airbases in rest of the uk is now complete and work has started on the second phase of memorial walls. The first phase of the memorial commemorating aircrew who were lost from 1 and 5 Groups flying from Lincolnshire airbases was completed in 2016.

IBCC HLF Success

International Bomber Command Centre Memorial Spire from South Park common

Our client, The Lincolnshire Bomber Command Memorial Trust (LBCM), in partnership with the University of Lincoln, has been awarded Round 2 funding of £3 million from the Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF) for the creation of the exhibition, community engagement and education programmes and digital archive for the International Bomber Command Centre (IBCC), it was announced today.

Planning Permission for Lincoln Care Home


Planning permission has been granted for a Lincoln care home by Lincoln City Council.  The new 75 bedroom care home will be situated on Long Leys Road in Lincoln and it will include day rooms, hobby rooms, dining rooms, a hairdressers and ancillary accommodation. The home will be set within landscaped gardens along with with car parking and cycle storage.
