New Primary School, Bourne

This new two-form entry primary school has been designed for maximum flexibility in use, with a fully integrated servicing and IT infrastructure, and a framed structure to allow for easy future alteration of layout. The classrooms, hall, library and administration accomm- odation are arranged along a top-lit central spine street which incorporates zones for activities and small group teaching etc. The form and construction of the school are designed to minimise energy use and C02 emissions, both in construction and in use, maximising opportunities for daylight and controlled sunshine into all classrooms.
