Out of Hours unit, Friskney

This new nursery at Friskney School creates a facility for parents and children as part of the local community. The building provides daycare nursery facilities as well as an extended schools service for the primary school; it includes internal and covered external play areas, kitchen, office, staff and ancillary facilities. It has high levels of insulation and natural ventilation. All spaces have good levels of natural daylight, with rooflighting to the central access and main play space, reducing energy consumption and improving the quality of space.
