An energy study to help the church reduce its energy use in line with the Church of England's Shrinking the Footprint initiative. The existing energy use was profiled for the church and adjacent church hall, looking at the buildings' fabric, ventilating, heating and lighting systems and water use. Options were investigated for improvements to walls, floors, roofs and windows as well as options for renewable energy heating systems including biomass boilers and ground source heat pumps. Internal re-ordering of the church was also investigated to improve it’s use and flexibility.
