Marlborough Road, Islington

A new end of terrace development in North London for the Carr-Gomm Society providing seven self-contained flats for single homeless people, along with a shared lounge and walled gardens for the residents. The design seeks to provide a visual end-stop to this Islington Edwardian terraced street, reinterpreting the traditional forms, scale and materials of the existing terrace to enliven the street whilst preserving its character.
