Housing development, Newton on Trent

A development of three houses completing a street of new detached houses by local developer Laing Homes. The design seeks to create a coherent street frontage, with the garage block of the 5 bed house forming a visual end stop to the street. The scheme contains two 4 bed houses and one 5 bed house; both types being designed to maximise daylight into the house and create a sense of space. Economical planning helps create generous, well lit spaces, especially in the entrance and hall areas.
