Works have commenced on site at Canwick Hill for the International Bomber Command Centre Memorial. Over the past few months we have revisited designs for the International Bomber Command Centre; renewing the layout to ensure that a bigger restaurant and shop plan would be able to sustain the running of the centre. Members of the Place team attended the Working with Historic Buildings course today at the Lincoln Castle Heritage Skills Centre. Great conservation talks and tour of the Castle walls and the new Magna Carta vault Heritage Revealed project by Arrol and Snell and the Cathedral Workshop.

Clive Fletcher of English Heritage; Ed Morton, conservation engineer and Andrew Arrol and other specialists gave interesting insights into craft skills, repair and conservation of historic buildings.
