The Royal Institute of British Architects is a global professional membership body driving excellence in architecture. It serves its members and society in order to deliver better buildings and places, stronger communities and a sustainable environment.

The ARB is the UK’s statutory regulator of architects. They keep a public register of UK architects. Every architect on their register has met the standards that they set for education, training and practice.

The Association for Project Management is the principal UK Institute for professional project managers. APM’s mission statement is ‘To provide leadership to the movement of committed organisations and individuals who share our passion for improving project outcomes’.
Qualified Practitioner members are entitled to use the title MAPM.

The Institute of Historic Building Conservation is UK's professional body for historic environment conservation specialists. IHBC members work in areas that help secure the conservation of historic places, buildings, sites or areas that we value.

The Ecclesiastical Architects and Surveyors Association is a 'non-profit organisation in the UK which promotes good standards of design and repair of ecclesiastical buildings across all denominations'.
