Planning Permission Granted For Alive Church
place : architecture has been delighted to work with the Alive Church to achieve Planning Permission and Listed Building Consent for works to the Alive Church, Newland, Lincoln.
The Alive Church is a Grade 2* Listed Building and the adjacent Newland Chambers are Grade 2. The permission is for the installation of a glazed infill to the rear of the Loggia, which is sited to the front of Newland Chambers. The permission also sees the two main timber doors replaced with glazed doors. It is the intention of the church that the transparency of the glazed doors will aid in connecting this well used church with the wider community, bringing a contemporary addition to a historic building. Place is the only registered conservation architects in Lincoln – you can find out more about our other conservation projects here.
