Planning permission for new house

Planning permission has been granted for a new house and stable block on land to the rear of an existing Victorian cottage at the edge of the village of Fiskerton in Lincolnshire.

The house is orientated South over the garden and a paddock, maximising solar gain and the views over the countryside.  The principal living spaces are located on the first floor, providing an elevated view over the low-lying landscape and beyond to the rising land on the southern bank of the River Witham.  The central part of the house has full height glazing from roof to ground floor level giving open views and maximum daylight and sunlight to the centre of the house on both floors.
